Knights Scorers: Haikal (2), Joel, Aliff, Rammy
An omnipotent Knights plundered goals as and when they needed them. The hot weather nor heavy rain could not stop Knights from a pleasing all round performance.
Shatec School Team were beaten 5-2 after a rousing second half display by Knights. Knights were boosted with the return of Central defenders who missed the last match. Joel partnering up front alongside Jesse for the first time scored his 1st Knights goal after deflecting a shot by Haikal. Shatec were quick to respond. A long shot saved by Knights stand in goalie Rammy, rattle the bar only to fall towards the incoming Shatec striker thus ends the score 1-1 in 1st half.
The 2nd half started with Rammy as striker while Ariff stands in between the post. Kai shifted to centre back while Knights debutant Shawn proceed as right back. Rammy once again proves his scoring prowess maintaining his scoring streak. Once again, Shatec manage to equalise after a freekick hits the back of Azmi leaving Ariff diving for air.
Moments later, a penalty was awarded after Indra was brought down. Haikal stepped up and confidently send the goalie the wrong way ending his goal drought since late 2009. So its just as well Knights remain on the front foot when a cheeky chip from Haikal send down Aliff racing towards goal to secure a 2 goal lead. It ended perfectly for Knights when Indra once again assisted Haikal to get a shot that sends the Shatec goalie scrambling after a deflection to give the scoreline a convincing look.
