At Xinmin Secondary, the team who hadn't tasted defeat in 6 games have a bit of "Dejavu" in a water logged pitch. Same time last year Knights were humbled 3 goals to 2 by MDIS. Ironically, there was 5 goals in this game and the defeated team was Knights once again.

Too often Knights were sloppy in possession and the makeshift midfield struggle to find an answer to 694 SIR attacking formation. The pitch was in poor condition due to the heavy rain earlier causing the mistimed and inaccurate decisions. Haikal was drawn into the first save of the game just before the 20th minute mark from a close range freekick. It got worse later in the half as 694 SIR strikers combined so well and caused havoc in Knights penalty area earning them a lead.

The half time break came as something of a relief to Knights for an instant reassessment. The restart got Knights with immediate push in attack. Short passes from midfield got Rammy his eight goal this year. Just as Knights showed a glimpse of fightback, 694 SIR regain their lead after a weak shot slipped through the hands of Haikal.

Knights started to push forward again. Of course, the more men Knights threw in search of that elusive equaliser, the more holes appeared at the back. The back 2 found life difficult throughout the last 20 mins as they were often isolated and outnumbered. So, it was hardly surprising that 694 SIR got their 3rd. The shot, looping from outside the box left Haikal gasping through air. Just before the final whistle, 694 SIR rounded off racing beyond a leggy midfield and defence firing their 4th goal.

It turned out to be a memorable afternoon for the men in green and white, but it was certainly a day the Knights was keen to forget.

Knights scorer: Rammy
